The Inspiring Legacy of Anne Ratner
Now celebrating its 45th and final year, this concert series is part of Anne Ratner’s generous legacy of gratitude and love for Camphill Village. Year after year, the series presents music by world-class artists in a rare, intimate setting.
For many years, Ms. Ratner held the concert series to benefit Camphill Village in her home on Riverside Drive. Well-known musicians, like Richard Goode and Emmanuel Ax, considered the opportunity to play for the series a career milestone. The concerts benefited Camphill Village, as well as the League Center for Seriously Disturbed Children in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, where Ms. Ratner was a teacher. We have welcomed dozens of classical musicians into the homes of the generous hosts who allow this series to continue. It is with pleasure and gratitude that we invite you to experience this special, decades-long tradition. |
